Life coaching is a co-creative process between a client and a life coach, through careful listening and asking powerful questions we uncover the hurdles and obstacles that are keeping you from reaching your full potential in life, and then lastly, we create goals together. Life Coaching is based on the present and goals are set for the future. We work together to go from Point A to Point B.
How is Life Coaching different from Therapy?
This is a very good question, in life coaching we work with high-functioning individuals that are often “stuck” in some aspect of their life, we stay in the present and future mode. A life coach empowers and motivates a client to unlock their full potential and work through their obstacles and limitations. In therapy, a client can be diagnosed and assessed, and often past traumas are discussed in detail, and issues are resolved at a deeper level in order to move forward.
Is Life Coaching covered by insurance?
No, life coaching is a personal investment and it isn’t covered by health insurance.
What is the role of a Life Coach?
As Life Coaches, we ask powerful questions in order to empower our clients. We cannot diagnose and treat mental health conditions. We work together to give the clients the tools and guidance to solve their own problems, these tools help the clients grow in personal development.
