About

I am Tammy Long, a Certified Life Coach who specializes in empowering Adult Children of Alcoholics (ACoA) to break free and discover threats and opportunities for achieving a life of wellness in Body, Mind & Spirit.  Through my personal struggles, I have found a way out of the confusion that comes along with being an ACoA. I am dedicated to supporting you to awaken to your true power and create the life you truly deserve:  a life of peace, happiness, and health.

Life Coaching is a co-creative process that inspires one to maximize their personal and professional potential. It is designed to facilitate the creation and development of personal, professional or business goals and to develop and carry out a strategy/plan for achieving those goals. The role of coach and client is as peers. It is not therapy and does not attempt to provide diagnosis or treatment.

The role of coach and client is as peers. I am a trained professional coach not a licensed therapist and do not attempt to provide diagnosis or treatment.  It will be up to you to determine the coaching agenda.  I will listen, reflect, ask questions, give perspectives, and options.  I will support you to find and foster your integrity as I believe that you always know what is best for you.

Coaching is a process where you can experience change in a short period. To refine and sustain, change can take several months. While not binding, I will ask you to expect our coaching relationship to last at least 3 months with minimum weekly appointments.

As your Life Coach, I agree to collaborate with you to identify and achieve your personal goals.  I cannot guarantee results. You will create powerful results by having the courage and determination to make life changes, accordingly.  During the coaching sessions, I will devote my time, thoughts, and energy to you exclusively.  I will bring attentive listening, understanding, belief in you, and commit to your success. You may expect me to challenge you, offer fresh perspectives, make requests (including assigning homework), acknowledge your wins, and guarantee confidentiality (to the fullest extent of the law, and as long as I do not fear for your or another’s safety) in our coaching relationship.

As my client, you agree to show up fully prepared and present for each session, pay attention to what has heart and meaning, tell the truth without blame or judgment and be open to outcome rather than attached to outcome. I will do the same.  As my client, you agree to be motivated and committed to taking action on personal goals and realize that anything less than your intentional full participation will not lead to your success.  As my client, you are thereby accepting full responsibility for yourself and any actions you take that might result from coaching.

As a Certified Life Coach, my focus is on empowering others to achieve a life of wellness. By providing a safe and supportive environment, individuals are able to identify challenges that are preventing them from achieving their goals.  I provide support in life including such things as purpose, relationships, and/or spirituality.  My mission is to help free the pain of not realizing one’s passions, dreams, and visions. My goal is to empower others to find and release what no longer serves them, to help them discover their true power and purpose, and rise to their limitless potential.
