For those who are sad and disappointed that they’re not in a coupling for Valentine’s Day, it would be wiser to look to a model of fulfilled single people than to the Hallmark model.
Hallmark, and the companies that followed suit, had mostly profits, not truly the celebration of real love, in mind.
Single people who are happy, content, fulfilled, and balanced have the better model, the better grounding in life.
To everyone, I would suggest a celebration of love of Self. Do something nurturing & appreciative for yourSelf. Fall in love with yourSelf ~ it is the basis for all other relationships, always.
To those who are in a coupling, it’s still wise to look to a model of contentment, love, and respect, rather than paper hearts and chocolate.
(And I love chocolate!)
